This booklet constitutes the refereed court cases of the nineteenth EUNICE/IFIP WG 6.2, 6.6 workshop on Advances in communique Networking, EUNICE 2013, held in Chemnitz, Germany, in August 2013.

The 23 oral papers confirmed including nine poster shows have been rigorously reviewed and chosen from forty submissions. The papers are equipped in topical sections on community modeling and layout, site visitors research, community and site visitors administration, prone over cellular networks, tracking and dimension, safety strategies, software of ICT in shrewdpermanent grid and shrewdpermanent domestic environments, information dissemination in ad-hoc and sensor networks, and providers and applications.

Here we take uniformization approach as the model analysis example. Let qii be the Survivability Modeling under Fault Propagation 33 diagnoal element of Q and I be the unit matrix, then the transient state probability vector is obtained as follows: ∞ π(τ ) = π(0) e−βτ i=0 (βτ )i i P, i! (6) where β ≥ maxi |qii | is the uniform rate parameter and P = I + Q/β. , K), the controllable error can be computed from = 1 − e−βτ K i=0 (βτ )i . i! (7) Whenever the system is in state i ∈ Ω, a reward is assigned at a rate Υ (i), where Υ denotes a reward function.

For safety and passenger comfort, broadband data communication links are often installed. g. Aircell GoGo in the United States of America. Other avionic data links as VHF or HF do not offer high bandwidth, are highly congested and very expensive, so they are not used for services requesting high data rates. Therefore, the most widely used worldwide available avionic broadband data communication are satellite links. Fields of application range from inflight entertainment to maintenance or even flight recorder data transmission.

However, such model does not distinguish the state of system before and after repair. We further relax these approximations and develop a more realistic mode in [7]. However, only a particular case of a three-subnetwork system is considered in this work. In this paper we generalize our previous work in [7]. The resulting model turns out to be a general model that considers the fault propagation among n (n > 0) subnetworks. Specifically, transient failures are integrated into the proposed model. The analysis results are helpful in estimating quantitatively the survivability, in terms of certain chosen performance metrics of a network (design).
